Ghana valuation practice / Signed opinions

Valuation team

A register can be prepared by software. An opinion has to be signed by a person.

AssetGhana™ tests whether a register can carry a valuation. The opinion itself is prepared and signed by a surveyor registered with the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, working to the valuation standards that a bank, an auditor, the Land Valuation Division or a court will accept. Every profile below carries a registration number you can verify with the professional body before you instruct.

Registration verified before publication

Every profile states the professional body and registration number. Verify it directly with the body before instructing — we expect clients to.

Instruction, inspection, opinion

Scope and fee basis are agreed in writing, the inspection is booked against the register prepared in AssetGhana, and the signed opinion is issued to the instructing party.

Where the boundary sits

Rekay prepares and tests the evidence. The valuation opinion is the surveyor's own professional judgement; statutory rating valuation runs through the Land Valuation Division of the Lands Commission.
